“What a FANTASTIC experience! We spent the morning in a Sri Lankan family home learning how to create our own batik. We were able to choose between some templates (which could be adapted) or to be totally creative and do our own thing. It was really interesting to learn and experience first hand, this craft. Although it was an early start, we were offered tea and sandwiches when we arrived. Everything was carefully explained to us. This has been a highlight of our visit to Sri Lanka and to come away with our own created souvenir is special. This trip is highly recommended!”
