Leave Ella early with an English-speaking driver for Horton Plains National Park and its 9.5-kilometer World's End and Baker's Falls trail. Continue to Nuwara Eliya for colonial sights, tea-making, and Ceylon tea. Drivers such as Dimuthu and Pubudu have earned praise for safe, helpful service, but entrance fees and meals cost extra.

“Horton Plains was beautiful! We had pretty bad weather, but it honestly didn't really take away from things. The entrance fee was a bit pricey and it would have been nice for it to be included in the tour. After seeing the efforts put towards conservation - the place was pristine - we were happy we paid.”

“i didn’t even get to my activity as my guide didn’t turn up. They didn’t answer the contact number that you gave me. We eventually got hold of one of your agents after about half an hour (Vugel). He was very helpful. However we were very disappointed. Horton plains was one of the highlights of our holiday and we have missed a once in a lifetime experience thanks to trusting you to organise the trip. We have been promised a refund but how can you compensate a lost chance of a life time? Plus of course the point that we got up at 5am for nothing - a minor inconvenience…”

“weather was lovely and all went mostly according to plan for pick up and park entry. we didn’t know that the National Park Tour included a 3 hour hike. we loved it but would have been good to explain that in the full description. Also best to say where lunch is meant to be held- thanks to the reviews from others we learned that they went to Summer Hill. We had to insist on that as the guide planned to bring us to a very very local food stand for lunch, which wasn’t at all appropriate given that we paid top dollar for the full day tour.
